Coronavirus Update

As countries respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, including travel and border restrictions, the Foreign Commonwealth Office have advised against all but essential travel as any country or area may restrict travel without notice. The following revised amendment and cancellation policies apply to to all bookings departing 17 March to 16 April 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and extend the travel dates accordingly. For bookings departing outside these dates, our standard terms and conditions apply.

If you are already in Orlando

  • If you have not activated your tickets – please see cancellation policy below.
  • If you have used any days on your tickets – The tickets are non-refundable. However, we will liaise with Universal Orlando Resort to try and obtain refunds for unused days. This is not guaranteed and could take some time as it is at the descretion of the parks. Any local or domestic announcement regarding refunds may not apply to international length of stay tickets.

If you have received your 2020 tickets and want to amend to another 2020 date

You may wish to try and re-book your holiday for another departure date in 2020. If this is the case, you can keep your Universal Park Tickets/booking live until you know whether you will be going or not as tickets will be valid to use at any time in 2020.

If you have received your 2020 tickets and want to amend to a date in 2021

The expiry of 2020 Universal Orlando Explorer Tickets will now be extended until 17 December 2021 (tickets must be activated on or before 4 December 2021). If you are planning to change your holiday to any time 1 January to 4 December 2021, you can keep your tickets as these can be activated at any time on or before 4 December 2021. If you are changing your holiday to a date between 5 to 31 December 2021, tickets will need to be returned to us as per the process for changing the year of travel.

Process for changing the year of travel

1) Email customerservices@universal-bookings.co.uk to notify us of your intention to defer travel to next year. Please include your booking reference in the subject line.

2) Return the tickets to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please include the original packing slip, or a covering note with your name and booking reference.

3) We will confirm receipt of your tickets by email.

4) We will update your booking and you will receive a confirmation by email.

5) We will waive all admin charges. Difference in ticket price will still be payable.

If you have received your 2020 tickets and want to cancel your booking

If guests holding a ticket for use during this closure period are unable to be flexible on their visit date, Universal will honor a full refund. 

Process for cancelling your tickets

1) Confirm your intention to cancel by emailing customerservices@universal-bookings.co.uk and quote your booking reference in the subject line.

2) Return the tickets to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please include the original packing slip, or a covering note with your name and booking reference.

4) We will refund the ticket(s) in 2-4 weeks of receipt of the tickets.

Blue Man Group Orlando

Blue Man Group’s shows beginning Monday, March 16 through Tuesday, March 31 are cancelled. Guests who have purchased tickets for Blue Man Group shows during this time will receive a full refund. To request a refund, please email customerservices@universal-bookings.co.uk requesting a refund of your Blue Man Group tickets. Please include your booking reference in the subject line.
